These 2 monster cakes were made for a little boy's first birthday. His mom emailed me some of the ideas that she liked and we tweaked them to what she wanted. Each tier of this cake was a different flavor- yellow, vanilla, and chocolate. All 3 were were iced with colored buttercream icing. The monster features were done in fondant. This cake feeds around 40-50 people.
And this was the smash cake also done for the same party. Smash cakes seem to pretty popular to order for first birthdays for the little ones to have their own cake to do their own amount of damage to. This cake again was covered with buttercream icing colored orange. And the eyes were made of vanilla cake and covered with fondant.
