This cross stitch birthday cake was made all out of fondant, with the exception of the stitches and needle. Those were done in vanila icing. The brown border on it to reflect the stitching hoop was also done in fondant. The shades of frosting can be changed to your preferences. Different shades of red were used because it was the birthday girl's favorite color :-)
